Meet Meg

Megan co-founded Santa Monica Yoga Studio, in Santa Monica, CA in 1993. That same year she graduated with a degree in Marriage Family and Child Counseling from Phillips University, Encino, California. A lifelong learner, she has over 1500 hours from accredited Yoga Teacher Training Programs, plus her Yoga Therapy Rx Certificate from Loyola Marymount University.

Megan created and facilitated Yoga Therapy for the Orange County Pain and Wellness Center in Santa Ana, CA. She assisted in the opening of the Venice Family Clinic for LMU’s Yoga Therapy Rx program at Venice Family Clinic in Venice, CA in 2012.

Today, Megan is a co-founder, co-director, and faculty of the AlcheMe Yoga Therapy Program in Irvine, CA, and a department advisor at Sevanti Wellness. She provides private yoga therapy to clients in person and online. She loves family, cooking, quiet time, nature, friends, traveling, and helping people live Yoga lifestyles, to refine, release and realize their lifetime flow. Meet Tess

Tess received her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014 and worked as a Physical Therapist, Therapy Manager, and Chief Therapist for California Children’s Services in Los Angeles and Orange Counties for 23 years. She created and developed programs for improved family and patient-centered therapy services and co-created a new model of therapy service implemented countywide for over 6000 patients with special health care needs.

Tess received her Clinical Yoga Therapist Certification from Loyola Marymount University in 2012 and became certified as a yoga therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) in 2017. She has provided yoga in-services to therapy staff at California Children’s Services in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. She has also mentored pediatric therapists to incorporate yoga into physical and occupational therapy sessions. She presented on yoga therapy as a guest lecturer in the California State University, Long Beach, Physical Therapy Program. 

Tess is a co-founder, co-director, and faculty of the AlcheMe Yoga Therapy Program in Irvine, CA, and a department advisor at Sevanti Wellness. She currently serves on the IAYT Accreditation Committee.
